It is interesting to note that vertical apps like ReelShort, GoodShort, and KalosTV are now the apps to go to for western vertical BL series. DramaBox who started off the trend with one of the first western vertical BL series has not had any new western BL series for a while now, and they have even deleted the Boy’s Love category from their site just a few months ago!

It then went on to win three major awards at the 62nd Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival 台北金馬影展 on November 22, 2025, for Best Actress in a Leading Role (Fan Bingbing 范冰冰), Best Cinematography (Leung Mingkai 梁銘佳) & Best Original Song (Penny Tai 戴佩妮).
