Thun Thai ทุนไทย is a 12-episode Thai anthology drama series which premiered on May 11, 2025 in Thailand. It consists of six stories set in six different regions in Thailand.

May 11, May 16 – The Recipe of Lasting Love สูตรรักไม่รู้ลืม
May 17, May 18 – Be Mine .. Be Yours เมื่อรักส่องสว่าง
May 23, May 24 – The Forgotten Stone นิลกาญจน์
May 25, May 30 – Thui Ja ทุยจ๋า
May 31, June 1 – Unexpected ว่าจะไม่รักเธอ
June 6, June 7 – Spirit of the Shadow ตลกรักหนังควาย

The two episodes which might interest BL fans will be the second story, Be Mine .. Be Yours, which stars Lay Talay from My Engineer…

Lost in the Woods ฤดูหลงป่า is a 7-episode Thai BL series that started airing from March 19, 2025. I did come across news that it actually premiered during the 77th Cannes Film Festival which took place from the 14th to the 25th of May, 2024, but no details as to whether it was just a trailer premiere, or actual first episode as such? The series is adapted from the novel of the same name by theneoclassic.

This series was on my to-watch-list when it started airing and I was going to do an OST post for it but they never released any OST the first few weeks after the series first went to air, and of course as weeks went by, I totally forgot about it, LOL… That is, until I came across a song from the series recommended on YouTube last night!

Tizzy Bac is a Taiwanese band I’m just recently getting to know because of their song About Our Multiverse 愛的多重宇宙 written for the Taiwanese drama series from earlier this year, I am Married… But! 童話故事下集. The band formed in 1999 but I have never actually heard any of their songs until this year, LOL… Part of the reasons is because before streaming became a thing and YouTube became available, trying to listen to songs released only in a different country is really difficult…

Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island 荔枝樹下熱烈島 is a 7-episode Chinese BL series which premiered (internationally only) on March 3, 2025. The full series is about the length of a film, so in some press releases it is also indicated as a film… The final episode, Episode 7, was released a few days ago, but there will be more epilogue episodes to follow, apparently 13 episodes altogether, with the first epilogue episode just uploaded yesterday. The series is free to watch on YouTube. The beautiful countryside sceneries, summer mood, cycling, swimming plotlines, and the fruit (lychees) do remind me of a certain LGBTQ+ film from a few years ago set in the summery Italian countryside which has peaches featured, what is it called? Call Me … Name, LOL…
