The Prince’s First Love is a new western vertical BL series that will drop on December 14, 2025 on ReelShort. It is interesting to note that vertical apps like ReelShort, GoodShort, and KalosTV are now the apps to go to for western vertical BL series. DramaBox who started off the trend with one of the first western vertical BL series has not had any new western BL series for a while now, and they have even deleted the Boy’s Love category from their site just a few months ago!

Mother Bhumi 地母 is a Malaysian film which premiered at the 38th Tokyo International Film Festival 東京国際映画祭 on October 27, 2025. It then went on to win three major awards at the 62nd Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival 台北金馬影展 on November 22, 2025, for Best Actress in a Leading Role (Fan Bingbing 范冰冰), Best Cinematography (Leung Mingkai 梁銘佳) & Best Original Song (Penny Tai 戴佩妮). The film will have its general theatre release first in Taiwan from December 19, 2025.

A mandopop supergroup surprise! A song written by two of the biggest names in Taiwanese pop, Jay Chou 周杰倫 (music) and Ashin of Mayday 五月天阿信 (lyrics) and sung together with the partly reformed, three members of F4 (Flower Four) who rose to fame starring in the 2001 idol drama Meteor Garden 流星花園, it surprised everyone by premiering unexpectedly just a few hours ago… Looking at the single cover, it hinted at the supergroup name as F✦FOREVER if you don’t want to reel off each of their individual names, LOL…

Before you get too excited about this new western vertical BL series, you should know that it is a remake of Till Bullets Do Us Part! Actually this is quite common in vertical dramas, I have seen vertical series that are exactly the same story with a different cast and with a different title just to confuse the viewers, LOL… Anyway, Mr. & Mr. Ace dropped around November 26, 2025 on KalosTV & MiniShorts. This time the actors are Kelton Elliot & Elliot Roy Rensky.
