Part 4 is getting too long, so I’m moving all the trailers for BL dramas scheduled for 2021 into this post.
Update June 30, 2021: There will be no more updates of trailers in this post for new BL dramas premiering in the second half of 2021 because there are just too many BL series that I have trouble keeping up with. Instead I may do new posts occasionally for teasers or trailers of shows from July, 2021 onwards that look interesting.

A few days ago, news came through that another Chinese BL novel by Priest (the same author who wrote “Guardian 鎮魂“) is being made into a 35-episode TV series, Light the Darkness (tentative English title), for 2021. The novel is Modu 默讀, and has been translated into English as The Light in the Night (original Chinese novel published from June 2016 until January 2017), but expect the TV series to be bromance and not BL since it is being made in China. Shooting of the series is scheduled to begin in February, 2021.

Wish You: Your Melody in My Heart 나의 마음속 너의 멜로디 (祝願你：我心中你的旋律) is a new 8-episode BL drama from South Korea that has just premiered on December 4, 2020. Funny that, South Korean always makes short BL episodes with just about 10 minutes per episode… Below are two OST songs I have found from the series, but they are just audio versions at the moment…
(more…)Manner of Death is a new Thai BL series that will start November 30, 2020. Finally a Thai BL drama series that is not centred around University! I have been looking forwards to this new series which will reunite Max Nattapol and Tul Pakorn, who both starred in the 2017’s BL series Together with Me. The theme song to Manner of Death is called Secret Love and it is sung by Tul Pakorn.
(more…)Wow, GMMTV has finally uploaded all episodes of the 2019’s Thai BL drama series, He’s Coming to Me เขามาเชงเม้งข้างๆหลุมผมครับ (清明時節愛上我), onto YouTube today! What a pleasant surprise, and thank you, thank you, thank you… I watched the series on facebook earlier this year since there were no official episodes online and I had to find each episode one-by-one which was very annoying. Now they are all here on GMMTV official YouTube channel, so happy, as I want to watch the series again in the future once the current rush of numerous new BL dramas finish their runs! Anyway here is the theme song from the series, Let Love Appear (also translated as Make Love Appear) and I have also included a cover version sung by one of the lead actors in the drama, Singto Prachaya…
(more…)Tonhon Chonlatee (心之航向／愛之航向) is another Thai BL drama that started airing yesterday. I just watched part 1 of episode one and I am already RFLMAO with the opening scenes and the 9th hole, and it is not golf! I think I am going to like this drama if it is going to be that funny all through the series… The good Thai BL dramas are starting to appear all at once now in the past month, after I Told Sunset About You, and TharnType 2, LOL… This is the theme song, Not a Day Goes By That I Don’t Love You ไม่มีวันไหนไม่รัก sung by Ice Sarunyu.

This new Japanese BL TV series has one of the longest and oddest titles I’ve come across, LOL… Based on the web-manga series, Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?! (30歳まで童貞だと魔法使いになれるらしい) by Yū Toyota, the TV series started airing on October 8, 2020, and so far 2 episodes out of 5 (Update October 24, 2020: I think I was wrong about the series having 5 episodes only, may have 12 episodes in total?) have been broadcast. I have watched both episodes, and it is VERY GOOD! It is also extremely funny, but you need to pay attention to what are being spoken aloud and what are their inner thoughts. Another one to add to the must-watch BL series of 2020! I have been trying to find the theme song videos but to no avail so far, only video-cuts of the opening and closing theme songs from the opening and closing credits, and a short TikTok video. But as soon as they decide to put out official music videos of both songs, I will add them here.
Update December 10, 2020: OMG! Fantastic news… There will be a luxury 3-episode epilogues spin-off from December 24, 2020… Scroll to the bottom of the page for the teaser video.

This is another new Thai BL series called I Told Sunset About You แปลรักฉันด้วยใจเธอ (also called BKPP: The Series 一心一譯／以你的心詮釋我的愛／心訴吾愛) which will premiere on October 22, 2020. I just saw the trailer, and it looks good! I love the song and in the trailer, there is a Chinese version being sung, so hopefully they will release the Chinese version too!
