Sammy’s Children’s Day 初三的六一兒童節 is a 9-episode Cantonese triad crime BL series which premiered on March 13, 2026. It is adapted from the webnovel of the same name by She Xie Dian Dian 蛇蠍點點. Even though they have dropped teasers and trailers over the past week for this new series, the actual date of release was not announced until just a few hours before its premiere and caught everyone by surprise. The novel has already been adapted into a full-cast audiobook 有聲劇 and an audio drama 廣播劇 previously.

Love After Addiction 許你十年 (Chinese Series OST)
10 years after… OK, this is an upcoming new Chinese BL series that will reunite the two actors who portrayed the secondary couple in Addicted 上癮, the hit series from 2016 that was banned in China. The news has been floating around the cyberspace the past few weeks and even rumoured to air a couple of days ago (10 years anniversary of Addicted first broadcast), which didn’t happen… Now GagaOOLala has teased us that Love After Addiction 許你十年 will premiere (supposedly) on February 6, 2026 on their streaming platform, but that page mysteriously disappeared soon after, and you can’t find it in their upcoming section either at the moment, LOL… So will it premiere on February 6 or not, we will have to wait and see…
Update February 1, 2026: A few hours after I published this post, the official announcement was released… It is official, this series starts streaming February 6, 2026 internationally only… I have added the official poster and teaser below…

Random Ramblings on BL Dramas – Sculpted Light 塑光, Fan Service 팬서비스 + More
In the past year or so, more and more YouTube BL series have sprung up… They are usually short series of about 10 minutes, or less, per episode per week, and I am not talking about vertical series which at least drop all their episodes in one go! They are also mostly low budget series of less than 10 episodes per series, following the traditional Korean BL strategy of releasing just one episode of about 10 or 15 minutes per week, but of course there are exceptions. It has now become almost impossible to keep track of these new short series as they are released, so I have decided to just note two of the recent series from two new channels, and also keep a list of the other YouTube channels that have been releasing BL series from the past year or so. Random Ramblings on BL Dramas – The Racer and His Dr. Perfect 誘他失控
The Racer and His Dr. Perfect 誘他失控 is a 65-episode Chinese vertical BL series that dropped on December 21, 2025 (?) on NetShort. Interestingly, NetShort felt the need to change the Chinese names of the protagonists into English names for the English subtitles, LOL… Did they think viewers who don’t speak Chinese are unable to follow the story if the names remain as Chinese?

From the creators of Meet You at the Blossom 花開有時頹靡無聲 from last year, To My Shore 吾岸 is a 15-episode Hong Kong and Thailand co-produced Chinese BL series which premiered on November 15, 2025 internationally. It is adapted from the webnovel Four-Faced Buddha 四面佛 by Su Er Liang 蘇二兩. As of the writing of this post, the songs from the OST are not available yet, so I will update when the songs are released…

Random Ramblings on BL Dramas – PlutoCharon 星軌
PlutoCharon 星軌 is a 4-episode (?) Chinese BL series which will premiere on October 19, 2025. There is very little information about the drama, except that it will be on the Thai’s MFlow YouTube Channel and it looks like a low budget series from the trailer. The airing schedule is also confusing, it shows only 4 episodes and the 4th episode will air on November 9, 2025, but curiously there is an episode preview on November 13, 2025 which I presume is a preview for Episode 5?

Random Ramblings on BL Dramas – Forbidden & Captivity 顧禁南囚
Forbidden & Captivity | Gu Jin Nan Qiu 顧禁南囚 (some social media posts also called it Bound by Fate) is a 12-episode short-form (about 5-6 minutes per episode) Chinese BL series which was supposed to premiere on October 7, 2025 (promoted as airing on bilibili domestically in China and YouTube internationally), but it actually dropped its first episode on October 11, 2025 on YouTube, and I couldn’t find it on bilibili (only teasers and BTS, can’t find episode 1)! First of all it is already weird to hear a BL airing on bilibili in China? Seriously if it can air on bilibili, then it can only be bromance and not BL? Unless it is only on the international branch of bilibili, and NOT on their domestic platform? However it is tagged as BL on their YouTube channel! So go figure, LOL…
