This song was first released in March, 2019 in mainland China and it is just beginning to become popular in other Asian countries. Written and composed by Kaijie Fan (樊凱傑, his stage name is 隔壁老樊 which translates as Old Fan from Next Door), the song has a very old soul feel, and he’s only just turned 21 in November last year!

I love his voice too. I don’t know if you have listened to some of his other songs, if not, here’s a compilation of 10 of his songs that someone put together. Some songs are covers, not written by him.
