The latest season of the Taiwanese HIStory BL series, Close to You 近距離愛上你, will premiere on White (Valentine’s) Day, March 14, 2021. The opening theme song, Revolving Round & Round 兜轉, will be sung by Malaysian singer, Andrew Tan 陳勢安. It is not released yet but the song can be heard in the nearly 8-minute long teaser of the new series and I quite like it. I’ll embed the MV of the full song here when it is available. Not sure who will sing the closing theme song, but there are snippets of two other songs in the teaser which could be one of them…
From the teaser, not another stepbrothers again, is HIStory series obsessed with stepbrothers? We are already saturated with University BL storylines, now are we getting more stepbrother storylines, LOL. If I recalled correctly, this would be the third time HIStory is doing this! Maybe this is due to the movie sequel to HIStory2: Crossing the Line being cancelled in 2020, as they was a stepbrother couple in that old series which may have been written as a sequel for the defunct movie, and now the story is being rejigged for HIStory4, just guessing?
Update March 15, 2021: A couple of sub-theme songs used in this series but they are previous release of songs for other TV shows, hence MV have clips from those shows…

Update March 18, 2021: It has been confirmed that the theme song Revolving Round & Round兜轉 by Andrew Tan 陳勢安 will premiere in Taiwan on March 22, 2021 and it will have its world premiere on March 23, 2021.
Update March 21, 2021: Teaser MV of opening theme song Round & Round 兜轉… Also the closing theme song Invisible Injuries are the Most Painful Hidden 看不見的傷最痛 will premiere in Taiwan on March 24, 2021.

Update May 9, 2021: The new album, The Only One I Wanna Know 唯一想了解的人 by Andrew Tan is going to be released on May 18, 2021. The title song is the final song from the OST of the TV series that we have all been waiting for, so hopefully the MV will be released soon… Below is the first-listen of all the songs from the new album… The title song is at 1:40-minute mark.

I’m only up to ep 6. But I know there is one more song that has not been released yet, 唯一想了解的人 (The only person I want to get to know) by Andrew Tan, so that could be the song.
