Deep In 入戲 is a 12-episode Chinese BL series which will premiere today, June 26, 2026, internationally except China. It is adapted from the novel Deep in the Act 入戲 by Tongzi 童子.
Fresh off winning Best Actor, Chen Xin finds himself cast alongside ambitious newcomer Zhang Zhun in a daring LGBTQ+ film. On screen, they portray psychiatrist Fang Chi and his patient Gao Zhun, whose relationship spirals beyond therapy into a dangerous mix of desire, obsession, and love. Off camera, Chen Xin and Zhang Zhun begin to lose sight of where acting ends and real feelings begin. Is it simply brilliant chemistry? Have they become too immersed in their roles? Or are they falling for each other for real? As the romance from the script seeps into reality, passion, jealousy, longing, and possessiveness threaten to consume them both.
