Return is Real 回來找你是真的 is a 53-episode (+ another 3 special episodes) Taiwanese fantasy pet-theme healing vertical series which will premiere on October 30, 2026 on YOUKU International with 5 episodes dropping at a time every Friday. This is part of the Is Real collection following Black&White is Real 黑白原來是真的 and Love is Real 我說愛你是真的 which were both BL series, but this new series is not officially tagged as BL, instead it is tagged as a healing drama with seven male lead actors, so I am not sure if it is more like master/pet relationship or BL? However I will still tag this post as BL since it is part of the Is Real anthology, LOL…
If your furry friend were to “reincarnate” and return to you after leaving, would you still recognize them?
Jing Wu (Lǚ Mu-yao 呂慕堯), the owner of a pet supply store, has been unable to move past the grief of losing his beloved dog, A-Ling. Guided by a mysterious “pathfinder” named Miao Si-er (Wills Sia 夏和熙), A-Ling, driven by an intense, unwavering desire to continue protecting his master, is granted a chance at reincarnation. He returns to Jing Wu’s side in human form, sparking a heartwarming and humorous journey of healing. However, as A-Ling (Lawrence Lo 羅章恩) encounters other reincarnated souls, he begins to realize that this new life may simply be the start of yet another profound life lesson. With their reunion shadowed by the possibility of another eventual parting, Jing Wu and A-Ling must navigate the delicate balance between being together and saying goodbye — ultimately learning anew the true meaning of love, companionship, and cherishing what one holds dear, while discovering the deepest significance of life itself.
