The Legend of Kitchen Soldier 취사병 전설이 되다 is a 12-episode Korean fantasy military comedy series which premiered with its first 2 episodes on March 24, 2026 at the Festival Séries Mania 2026 in Lille, France. It was officially released internationally on May 11, 2026. The series is based on the webtoon series adapted from the webnovel of the same name by J. Robin 제이로빈. I binged the first couple of episodes over the weekend and I can say, the series is really funny in a absurd way and I am enjoying it so far… And the food will make you hungry! Some of the silly moments do resemble the plots from the vertical dramas, but done way, way better and funnier… If you are also a fan of classic American comedies, the setting of this series being an outpost reminds me of M*A*S*H and its mess tent…
