With so many BL series going on at the moment, I’ve not been able to keep up with the pace and have neglected some series that went on air late last year and beginning of this year. It is also difficult to keep up with their soundtracks, so here are the OSTs from 5 Thai BL series that are currently on air which I must admit I have not watched any of them yet. However of the five series, it seems Not Me and Cutie Pie are the two series that are getting good reviews.

【OST】Korean BL Series, February 2022
Not only are there plenty of new Thai BL series appearing in the first few weeks of 2022, there are also a plethora of new Korean BL series premiering in the past couple of weeks or before the end of February. I can’t keep up and have given up trying to watch them for the moment as I have other better shows to watch currently. So I thought I would just keep a record of these new shows with their OSTs here so if I ran out of shows to watch in the future, I don’t have to try to remember the names of these shows or search for them. One series that premiered on February 11, 2022 is First Love Again 첫사랑만세번째 but I can’t seem to find any songs from that series for the moment, so I will add the OST here when and if it is available. Next week Oh! Boarding House 하숙집 오!번지 and Cherry Blossoms After Winter 겨울 지나 벚꽃 are set to premiere on February 22, 2022 and February 24, 2022 respectively and I will do the same here when their OSTs are released.

In Your Heart 在你心之所向的地方 (Chinese Series OST)
In Your Heart 在你心之所向的地方 is a new 8-episode Chinese BL series that will première on February 11, 2022. If you have heard or watched the low-budget Chinese BL series from 2020, Capture Lover 冰糖陷阱, you would not be surprised that this new series is from the same production company. Therefore China does make proper BL series, but only for international audience by streaming them through Taiwanese and international streaming platforms, GagaOOLala and ViKi. Hence their social media posts are sometimes written in Traditional Chinese font which is the official font used in Taiwan… However looking at the various streaming platforms this time around for this new series, WeTV is no longer one of the streaming platforms as it is the international branch of the big Chinese streaming platform Tencent, instead Taiwanese streaming platform, KKTV, is now one of the streaming platforms. So make of it what you will knowing the sad state of anything BL-related stuff in China currently.

My Ride รักนาย (Thai Series OST)
My Ride รักนาย (Thai title is Love You) is a new Thai BL series that premiered last night, January 27, 2022. There are so many Thai BL series coming out in the early part of this year I really can’t keep track of… However this is one series that looks interesting in storyline but I’ll have to wait a bit before starting to watch it. At the moment, my watching list is already so full with Korean series Snowdrop (So GOOD, a spy thriller with a romantic plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat), Japanese series Kei × Yaku (interesting development in episode 2 with the revelation that Shiro is bisexual) & the long titled Ikemen series (comedy with depth), and finally the one Thai series that I’m actually enjoying, Paint with Love. Then also on my to-watch list is the upcoming Taiwanese series 49 Days with a Merman which is coming in early February. So most new Thai series will have to take a back seat in the next few weeks since many Thai series have proven to be quite disappointing recently…

Professional Body Double 職業替身 (Audio Drama OST)
Currently following Shui Qian Cheng 水千丞’s latest 188 novel, Alpha Predator 頂級掠食者, and Yan Mingxiu 晏明修 from Professional Body Double 職業替身 has already made a guest appearance in the early chapters and immediately declared he is a married man… I remember reading somewhere someone mentioned that these 188 bastards always appeared as the perfect husbands when they are in someone else’s novels, nobody would have guessed the awful things they did in their own novel. So true, LOL… Anyway I suddenly realised I haven’t checked if there was an audio drama for Professional Body Double and theme songs from it. Well of course there was and two seasons of it…

Something In My Room ผมกับผีในห้อง (Thai Series OST)
Something In My Room ผมกับผีในห้อง is an upcoming 10-episode Thai BL series that will premiere on January 19, 2022. It is adapted from the Thai comics of the same name by Raflael_M. After reading the synopsis, it gave me the vibe of the 2019’s Thai BL series, He’s Coming to Me, as it also has the plot of solving the case of the death of the ghost in the story. However, I’m not sure if it will be a light-hearted story as He’s Coming to Me or it will be more scary in tone, but I will definitely give this series a go…

Behind Cut 비하인드 컷 is the lastest South Korean BL series that premiered on December 28, 2021. It is another typical South Korean short-episode series that is basically a movie-length film split into 8 short episodes for the first broadcast. This series is set in the fashion industry so it’s something new for the BL dramas.
