Private chef to actor Chris Hemsworth, Spanish-born Sergio Perera’s new 8-part cooking travelogue show, Destination Peru, premiered on August 4, 2026 on SBS Food and SBS On Demand, and with subsequent episodes airing every Tuesday at 7:30pm. Together with two former MasterChef Australia contestants, Minoli De Silva and Conor Curran, as co-hosts, they journey through Peru exploring the country’s landscape, its people and its food. The only thing I know about Peru is Machu Picchu, LOL… I am not familiar with Peruvian cuisine, so it is an eye opener for me, but the show doesn’t seem to provide recipes cooked in each episode which is a disappointment… That said the scenery of the country is beautiful!
