I’m easily pleased, anything with food, I watch, LOL… You know, sometimes watching a movie or a drama is not about how good the acting or the story is. Sometimes, it is just about how that story hit you at the right spot at that particular moment, even if the story telling or the acting is crap. Sometimes you just need a silly comedy that you don’t need to think or analyse too much to relax, or a karma/revenge story like this AI drama to let off some steam after a hard day. But I am a sucker for karma/revenge stories for a good laugh anyway, especially one that is as unapologetic as this AI drama, LOL… WTF! Burger Flipper is the Chain Boss is a 40-episode AI animated vertical drama that dropped around June 8, 2026 (?), or even earlier on DramaBox.
Well, don’t expect the story to be top-notch or anywhere near it because it felt like AI wrote the script and then animated it! They didn’t even bother to think of a second name for the protagonist. Quite sure his full name is NOT the name of the fast food joint, because the name of the burger joint is just, you know, LOL… Like you have been told countless times, AI can make mistakes! Well, how true that is, because some of the dialogues felt like they were speaking in American English and suddenly veering to UK English, hilarious… And all the inconsistencies of AI animation are there for you to spot. However if you just watch for the karma story, you will have a good laugh… One of my pet peeves about many vertical series is that the naive protagonist giving the villain a second chance even after being treated badly for years, so one sweet word with ulterior motive from the villain and the protagonist believe them? But in this one, it is unapologetic, no second chance whatsoever… So satisfying to watch, LOL…
