The Servant Prince しもべの王子様 is a 10-episode (?) Japanese BL series that premiered with its first episode at a special advance event screening in Tokyo on June 30, 2026. The series started its official broadcast last night, July 3, 2026, in Japan. It is adapted from the manga of the same name by Tatsumoto Mio たつもとみお.
During their high school years, Goto Naoya 五藤直也 (Ogawa Fuminori 小川史記 (of BUDDiiS)), the son of a company president who reigned at the top of the school hierarchy, completely controlled Sato Takaaki 佐藤高明 (Seto Toshiki 瀬戸利樹), who was at the bottom of the school’s social caste. Takaaki, who was Naoya’s “servant” and would do anything he was told, became a highly successful venture company president 10 years later. Meanwhile, Naoya failed to manage the company he inherited from his father and fell into unemployment, completely reversing their positions.
Nevertheless, Takaaki always responded to Naoya’s calls and devotedly did everything for him, from housework to physical intimacy. One day, Naoya decides not to interfere with Takaaki’s future and tries to end their relationship himself.

Interestingly, there’s a western trashy AI BL series with a very similar theme of the reversal of fortune between the master and the servant just released recently on a few different apps including DramaBox and iQIYI called My Master My Slave if you want to check it out…
