The School for Bad Boys is a 64-episode western vertical BL series that dropped on October 3, 2026 on ReelShort. This is the first of a trilogy series and the two sequels will premiere later this month. Hold on to your seats – this new series has a star-studded cast with Declan Clifford, Greg Duffy, Cayman Cardiff and Ben Ubinas. I also love that ReelShort is now making trilogy series, so we don’t have to wonder if there will be a sequel or not like in the early days of western BL!
After being sent to Maplewood Reform School — a last stop before prison for the problem sons of wealthy families — openly gay teen Cody Calloway is NOT welcome. After all, the first rule of Maplewood is clear: any homosexual activity earns an immediate expulsion. Enter Beckett Hayes, the school’s straight golden boy with a girlfriend, a dark past, and a growing obsession with Cody. Every stolen touch puts their freedom on the line…but some things are worth the risk.
This vertical drama stars Declan Clifford as Cody Calloway, Greg Duffy as Beckett Hayes, Ben Ubinas as Easton Scott, Cayman Cardiff as Xander Thorne, Nicolas Hermick as Leo Lovell, Tom Sys as Tyler Vonroe, and Autumn Noel as Blaire Price.
