Next Door is a 50-episode western BL series that dropped on May 8, 2026 (US time) on CandyJar. I haven’t got this app yet, LOL, because it is now impossible to have all these different apps just to watch their shows! It is also nearly impossible to keep track of all the new series from all these different vertical apps! I have only watched the free episodes on YouTube at the moment but it seems the series is available in both wide screen and vertical screen… Next Door is based on the novel of the same name published at Galatea which is CandyJar’s novels and audiobooks app, but for the life of me I can’t seem to find the novel there?

I think there are songs for the series as seen from the trailer, but with Chinese BL series on YouTube, we can never really be sure if they will release an OST or not. Random Ramblings on BL Dramas – Lure Him to Fall
Lure Him to Fall is a 60-episode western vertical BL that dropped on May 3, 2026 on NetShort. I have gone down the rabbit hole of AI vertical series and watched quite a few series the past couple of weeks, especially the snow white one which I have watched at least 3 or 4 times now with Prince Charging & his tickle attack, also his rainbow horse giving a side eye after being called gay, and the “perfectly smooth boiled egg” line had me laughing my head off every times… Now it is oddly weird to find another new western BL series with real actors, LOL… Not too sure but is this another Ukrainian one with the accent?

Mafia Contract Ⅱ: The Mafia Star’s Contract Couple 黑契２：黑幫巨星的契約男CP is a 26-episode AI animated BL series that dropped on April 30, 2026 on HiTV. This is the sequel to the AI series from a few months ago, The Mafia King’s Contract Groom 黑幫大佬的契約男新娘. I have also just found out that this is a Chinese series, hence there is a Chinese title! So this can almost be considered a “Chinese” BL animation even though it is set in a western country with English dialogue, LOL… Apparently this Chinese creator has announced that there will be a third instalment, but will only release it if there are enough viewers watching this series on the legal site instead of the pirated copies.
Update May 31, 2026: Oh dear, HiTV seems to have disappeared, it seemed legit when I watched it but I guess it wasn’t after all! Anyway, I was watching another new AI BL yesterday and I think this one, MoreShort, should be the official source, both The Mafia King’s Contract Groom and Mafia Contract Ⅱ: The Mafia Star’s Contract Couple are there, so I suggest don’t go to HiTV if it ever came back, but go watch on MoreShort instead. It was so weird, when I was searching for Mafia Contract Ⅱ at the time, MoreShort didn’t even show up in any of the results, but HiTV did since it got the app and everything and I thought that has to be the legit site, but I was completely wrong! Let’s pray I am not wrong with MoreShort too, LOL…

Private Galaxy 星晨未來 is a 10-episode (?) Chinese BL series that dropped on April 30, 2026 on YouTube. Each episode is about 15 minutes long… The title of this series has had a couple of name changes since its announcement late last year, it was previously known as YinKai’s Diary 胤愷日記, then it was changed to Galaxy In Your Ear 星晨旋律 before settling on the current name! The two leading actors, Zhao Yin 趙胤 and Wang Yunkai 王韻愷, are an online content creator couple on Chinese social media before launching this BL series together.
