Seeking revenge on the scoundrel Wang Fei-Peng (Harry Chang 張懷秋), a young woman named Chang Kai-Hsi (Charlize Lamb 林奕嵐) quietly approaches his wife, Yang Man-Ju (Ivy Chen 陳意涵) — who suffers from severe alcoholism. Unexpectedly, the two form an unlikely bond across generations, even as their lives spiral out of control. Narcotics detective Chen Chi-Ming (Joseph Chang 張孝全) reunites with his first love, Man-Ju, while investigating a case, finding himself torn between the anguish of a fallen comrade and lingering feelings for the past. Driven by obsessions as potent as any addiction, they plunge into their own personal abysses; yet, amidst the descent, their companionship becomes their only salvation.
