However I have come to realize that with AI series, it is very hard to find the original official source of premiere especially as I believe this is another Chinese animated AI series, and there are pirated copies all over the internet. They have released an OST on a Chinese music platform with music generated by AI too! I was perplexed about whether to make this post under the OST or Random Ramblings heading, but since the music are all AI generated, I have decided that they are not real music with no actual composers or singers, so in the end I have decided to put this under the Random Ramblings heading… However I will provide the links to the OST below for anyone interested…

My Grandpa is a BL Writer คุณปู่วุ่น Y หลานชาย Y วุ่น is a 10-episode (update to 12-episode) Thai family drama series which will premiere on May 16, 2026. This is not strictly a BL drama, more of a lakorn series with LGBTQ themed storyline… I am really looking forward to watching this series, but since the drama is airing on Thai PBS, it is very unlikely there will be English subtitles which is a shame!
