I don’t even know where to begin with this Chinese AI drama, LOL… First of all there is no English title, the direct translation of the Chinese title 姐夫和校霸 要如何選擇 is How to Choose Between His Brother-in-Law and the School Bully? I’ve shortened it to just His Brother-in-law or the School Bully? for the title of this post… Next I can’t even find any information about the series or if the YouTube version I watched it on is the original platform where it was released! But I doubt it since it said 52 episodes currently on the thumbnail, which means that the series must have been in episodic release from its original platform like the vertical series. With Chinese AI creators currently pumping out AI dramas like there’s no tomorrow, it is impossible to know where all these AI animations came from!

Another ice hockey drama? Yes, you betcha! Score Me, Captain is another ongoing AI animated BL vertical series that dropped around early May, 2026 (?) on My Muse. It is based on the novel of the same name published on My Passion. I’ve noticed that vertical shorts are now starting to adapt novels into series rather than the rinse and repeat plots of so many vertical dramas.

It is currently up to 39 episodes, but feels like there may be more episodes to be released? Once again it is another ice-hockey drama, LOL, how many more ice-hockey series are we going to get this year! Oh, by the way, there is another non-BL vertical series called Ice and Flame with real actors, so don’t get confused…

The Lie We Lived In 거짓말이 사는 집 is an 8-episode Korean mystery thriller BL series which will premiere on June 5, 2026. The series was promoted last year as Killing House 킬링 하우스 before the change to the current title. I think there should be an OST for the series, but for now I’ll keep it as a non-OST post until if and when the OST is available.

I’m running off my feet trying to keep up with new BL series the past few weeks, LOL… I thought one post per day is enough, but apparently NOT, LOL… And that’s not counting the flood of AI BL from China that are saturating the market at the moment (really have to sift through all the bad ones to find a good one with unique storyline, LOL…), and also the short YouTube-only BL series (channels like SUKFILM, TRUE FILM, 我們的秘密 Secret Of Us Official, SEEKMedia, GND STUDIO, etc…) that I really don’t have time to track anymore. On top of those, there are also current Thai BL series like CrazyLove-MooMoo that I’m still waiting for the release of its OST before I can write a post for the series. But for the moment, here’s another new one. We’re Closing, My Assistant 폐업하겠습니다, 직원님 is a 30-episode Korean vertical BL series that dropped on May 25, 2026 on Shortime.
