I have gone down the rabbit hole of AI vertical series and watched quite a few series the past couple of weeks, especially the snow white one which I have watched at least 3 or 4 times now with Prince Charging & his tickle attack, also his rainbow horse giving a side eye after being called gay, and the “perfectly smooth boiled egg” line had me laughing my head off every times… Now it is oddly weird to find another new western BL series with real actors, LOL… Not too sure but is this another Ukrainian one with the accent?

Mafia Contract Ⅱ: The Mafia Star’s Contract Couple 黑契２：黑幫巨星的契約男CP is a 26-episode AI animated BL series that dropped on April 30, 2026 on HiTV. This is the sequel to the AI series from a few months ago, The Mafia King’s Contract Groom. I have also just found out that this is a Chinese series, hence there is a Chinese title! So this can almost be considered a “Chinese” BL animation even though it is set in a western country with English dialogue, LOL… Apparently this Chinese creator has announced that there will be a third instalment, but will only release it if there are enough viewers watching this series on the legal site instead of the pirated copies.

Random Ramblings on BL Dramas – Private Galaxy 星晨未來
Private Galaxy 星晨未來 is a 10-episode (?) Chinese BL series that dropped on April 30, 2026 on YouTube. Each episode is about 15 minutes long… The title of this series has had a couple of name changes since its announcement late last year, it was previously known as YinKai’s Diary 胤愷日記, then it was changed to Galaxy In Your Ear 星晨旋律 before settling on the current name! The two leading actors, Zhao Yin 趙胤 and Wang Yunkai 王韻愷, are an online content creator couple on Chinese social media before launching this BL series together.
